Your Organisation This civil construction and residential development organisation have grown from a small family-run business to a medium-sized team with ongoing expansion in the near future. Specialising in civil construction within the fuel and energy sector, their works are ramping up and they need a Contracts/Operations Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis. This role would be based out of their head office in Hemmant with regular visits to project sites around Brisbane. Your Role Working closely with the Project Manager, you will bring your expertise in Contracts Administration and Project Costings and Administration to support the team in this area as they continue to grow. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing scope of works and trade packages; Tender package reviews and negotiations; Preparing and administering contracts; Developing accurate project estimates, budgets and costings; Preparing and managing procurement schedules in accordance with project timelines; Administration of all project documentation, RFIs, observations and submittals; Use of building software to manage project documentation; Forecasting for project budgets; Assisting with processing of monthly claims; Liaising with clients, subcontractors and Government/Regulatory bodies; Preparing reporting for project stakeholders; and Assisting with any other administrative or operational tasks as required. The role will be quite varied, diverse and provide you with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing solid project support frameworks for an organisation undergoing exciting development. About You You will bring strong Contracts Administration and Project Support experience within a construction environment as well as strong abilities in stakeholder relationship management. You will demonstrate previous experience with and a good understanding of project financials including the ability to develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost control and monthly claims submissions. You will be organised and proactive, yet pragmatic and down to earth and enjoy developing strong working relationships within a close-knit team. Knowledge of Advanced Safety Systems Australia (ASSA) and Buildertrend will be highly regarded.
