We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura. We currently have a position available for a full time Administration Officer at our Port Pirie depot, working Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM. The role will be responsible for being the first point of contact for receiving and responding to all customer enquiries, handling and resolving any issues that may arise including those concerning freight, adhering to safety standards, undertaking basic data entry, as well as sorting, imaging and quality control of paperwork. About you Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication. A great attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. Excellent phone manner and professional presentation. Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Computer literate and proficient with MS office software. Team player with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not essential.
