An exciting opportunity for a system Designer to join the Melbourne team of a leading global technology company Our client is looking for a talented Systems Network and Design Specialist to join their Melbourne team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping their technical solutions and ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components. You will at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, driving innovation and excellence in system architecture and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: System Design and Prototyping: Contribute to the creation and refinement of system architectures and prototypes. Develop innovative solutions to address complex technical challenges. Integration of Third-Party Components: Select, evaluate, and integrate third-party hardware, equipment, and software into our systems. Detailed Analysis and Specification: Analyze system specifications in detail and define relevant specifications and qualification tests. Documentation and Standards Compliance: Create and document designs that adhere to industry standards. Develop procedures and provide support to our operations team. Network Infrastructure: Design, plan, and implement critical network infrastructure to support our operations. Issue Resolution: Respond to emerging issues impacting our customers by troubleshooting, analyzing, and implementing effective solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with various technical and service teams across the organization to ensure cohesive project execution. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with proven experience in integrated circuits specifications and hardware design. Telecommunication Protocols: Familiarity with digital and analog telecommunication protocols including ISDN, FXS/FXO, CAS, SS7, and SIP. VoIP Technologies: Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP, and their secure versions), VoIP PBX, and Media Gateways. Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux (RHEL/CentOS preferred), Windows Server 2008 and later, and Windows 10. Virtualization: Experience with VMware virtualization platforms. Project Management: Background in leading hardware design projects and managing component lifecycles. Debugging Skills: Skilled in using debugging tools and techniques. Methodology: Knowledge of Agile methodology. Education: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
