Industrial Electrician with experience in wiring control and protection panels, substations and switch gear. Permanent, full time role. The Company Leading manufacturer and supplier of packaged substations, kiosks, LV, MV and HV switchgear and transformers for power, mining, O&G and renewable energy projects across Queensland and Australia. All fabrication and testing to Australian standards is completed in house at their Brisbane facility before going to site for installation. The Role Installation and fitout of prefab substations, RMU’s, control and protection panels, switchboards, cabling and switchgear. Broad range of projects so work is varied and provides exposure to different technologies. Perform testing, fault finding and commissioning. Primarily based in Brisbane, occasional trips to site may be required. Required Skills Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence. QLD Electrical License. Solid industrial electrical experience including installation and fault finding, cabling, wiring panels, LV, MV, HV. Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings. Responsible attitude and commitment to working with safety as the top priority. Self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits Permanent position with overtime and penalty rates. Monday to Friday, be home every night. Based in the workshop Brisbane south, only occasional visits to site.
