About the Role As a Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing Refurbishment Projects and upscaling equipment in a major supermarket chain. You'll lead a team of 10-25 people and will be reporting to a Project Coordinator, to ensure that common goals are achieved according to staging. If you enjoy a sense of achievement this role is perfectly suited to you. Night work with a weekend-free roster (Sunday to Thursday shifts). General working hours are from 9:30 PM to 6 AM. Hourly Pay Rate of $42.11 for night shift. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and inspire a team of merchandisers, ensuring high performance, motivation, and adherence to company standards. Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance. Ensuring OHS Protocols are in place. Project implementation: Lead and manage store renewal projects, including store layout redesigns, planogram implementation, and installation of new fixtures and equipment. Inventory and Stocktake: Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment to ensure availability to complete projects. Training & Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in merchandising best practices. Provide on-going feedback, coaching, and support to team members. Communication and Reporting: Collaborate with stakeholders involved in each project to ensure seamless project execution. Reporting to the Project Coordinator every morning the status of the project. Qualifications Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Team Lead or similar in a retail or merchandiser role. Experience in Relays, Planograms and ESL (Electronic Shelf Labelling) installation. Ability to read floor designs and stagings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Must have a positive attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to lead a team and liaise with clients. Basic computer skills. Own car and Driver's Licence essential.
