Foundation Labour Hire is seeking an Auto Electrician based in Darwin for an immediate start. About Job: Previous experience in a similar role, along with a relevant Trade Qualification and air-conditioning ticket. Diagnose and perform electrical repairs on a variety of light vehicles, heavy haulage, and plant equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools. Electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on light vehicles, heavy haulage, and plant equipment. Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs on all electrical equipment and components in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and the maintenance schedule. Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to the power supply. Adjust engine control systems and timing as needed. Test and replace defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors when required. Complete all necessary paperwork for repairs in accordance with requirements. Requirements/Certifications: A nationally recognized construction industry competency (White Card) is required.
