The Role The newly created role of Customer Service Supervisor awaits a dynamic individual to join our growing QLD/NT Sales Department. The Customer Service Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the performance of sales contracts and orders processed within the state office, ensuring on-time performance is maintained within acceptable parameters and to the delivery milestones set in each order confirmation. With supervisory responsibilities to the QLD/NT Order and Inventory Management Team, this is a hands-on role that requires the flexibility and adaptability to work across a team orientated and ever-changing environment. Key Responsibilities include: Ensure that qualified and articulated order confirmations are sent for every sales order received. Make sure that the on-time delivery results (as reported in Tableau) are meeting or exceeding the expected performance levels as articulated in the annual business plan. Customer expectations on deliveries are kept up to date with the clients, and in the system. Assist the National Contracts, Logistics, and Inventory Manager through regular feedback in the development of procedures leading to excellence in sales order delivery. Recommending to the State Manager – QLD/NT the training and development requirements of the Customer Service team members and assisting in their development. Assist in the state inventory management by following global guidelines of the “Inventory Management Guide” which includes tasks such as setting inventory level targets, monitoring slow moving items, and suggesting scrapping of obsolete stock. Processing sales orders on behalf of other state teams as deemed necessary and coordinated by the National Contract, Logistics and Inventory Manager. Interaction with key Business Partners to review and coordinate consignment stocks and review their purchasing practices. Support sales in the communication of the shipment location and status of receipt or delivery of items received or being transferred. About You Sound administrative skills with experience in SAP B1 and MS software suites. Evidence of team leadership and supervisory capabilities. Experienced business background with a customer service orientation. Practical IT knowledge and awareness of contemporary business systems. Good communication skills, able to communicate at all levels and present publicly. Formal training and accreditation in Contracts or Project management will be essential within an agreed timeline.
