About the Role We are looking for a motivated Warehouse & Distribution Manager to manage day to day operations at our West Footscray site. Reporting to the Site Leader, you will play a critical role to ensure efficient and effective use of capital, resources and equipment, and take on responsibility for warehousing and distribution across our West Footscray site. Your responsibilities will include to: Develop and implement inventory and warehouse management strategies Optimise warehouse layout and utilisation to maximise safety, quality and efficiency Investigate warehouse and distribution related NCRs and other performance measurements, and take corrective action as required Train, develop and mentor warehouse team members, and carry out performance evaluations with appropriate interventions to enhance productivity Promote team engagement and individual empowerment Deliver continuous improvement in business processes Maintain regular communication with key customers, including regular review meetings and KPI reporting About you We are looking for a passionate people leader who is eager to create change as our business enters an exciting period of growth. This role requires previous experience in warehouse management in an FMCG and/or Manufacturing environment, as well as: Qualification in Supply Chain Management or similar (desirable) Understanding of inventory management and quality systems compliance Experience in ERP and SAP Excellent people leadership and communication skills High commitment to safety Proactivity in change management and continuous improvement Resilience and flexibility, being comfortable working in a changing environment and supporting others through the change process What's on offer at Mauri?
