We are seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to join our Research and Development team at ABI Interiors Head Office on the Gold Coast. This full-time role is pivotal in enhancing the skill set of our current design team and being the driving force behind innovation and new projects. What you will be doing: Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Mentor and develop the design team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to align design efforts with overall business goals. Ensure all design outputs meet our quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Lead forecasting and resource allocation efforts. Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Enhance project management skills and processes throughout the organisation. Introduce new frameworks and strengthen project governance. Provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement. About you: Proven experience in industrial design and team leadership. Strong project management skills and technical understanding. Ability to foster innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. At least 6 years experience in a similar role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or similar.
