Disability Connect Victoria is seeking dedicated support workers for our 24x7 program in Thornbury and Abbotsford. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients who require specialized care and support. Key Requirements: PEG Feeding: Experience with PEG feeding is essential for this role, as you will be supporting clients who require nutritional support via feeding tubes. Functional Neurological Disorder (FND): Familiarity with supporting individuals with FND, including understanding the complexities of this condition and providing appropriate care. Severe Anaphylaxis: You must be well-versed in managing severe anaphylactic reactions, including the administration of emergency medications. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS): Experience in supporting individuals with ME/CFS, understanding their unique needs, and providing gentle, compassionate care. What You Need: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a relevant discipline Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role Current NDIS Worker Screening Check A valid First Aid and CPR certificate (Preferred) Valid driver’s license and access to a registered and insured vehicle Why Join Us?
