About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Kingsgrove site on a permanent full-time basis, covering the Afternoon Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of all plant machinery, as well as assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance. Your work will be crucial in maintaining the safety and operational standards of our facility, adhering to Australian Standards and relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all machinery operates according to Australian standards. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools. Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment, computers, and hand tools. Proactively communicate with key stakeholders to address maintenance issues. Manage multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment. Conduct thorough inspections of plant and equipment, resolving potential issues and informing the maintenance manager. Adhere to and promote Quality, GMP, HACCP, and food safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. Ensure all machinery is maintained in a safe working condition and properly set for production use. Requirements: Trade qualifications in Electrical - essential. Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical - preferred. PLC/Electronics knowledge and experience - essential. 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally within the FMCG sector, preferably in Food & Beverage. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Team player with a hands-on approach. Willingness to work the Afternoon shift.
