This career defining role will see you play a key role in shaping the legal and governance aspects of this business. About the role: In this newly created role, you will lead a large, high performing legal and governance function. As a member of the executive leadership team you will work closely with the other ELT members and the Board to drive outstanding outcomes on major projects. Specifically, this will include involvement in: negotiation and drafting of project delivery documentation including tenders, contractor engagement, development agreements, complex land transactions and commercial structuring involving significant investment deals; the development of governance frameworks and structure working closely with the Board; advising and working with a variety of stakeholders both in the private and public sector; and strategic decision making across business activities; Skills/Experience: To be considered for this role you will have: 15 years' PAE including strong property law experience; demonstrated corporate governance exposure working with Boards and ELTs; ideally a mix of private practice and in-house experience; excellent leadership skills with the ability to engage and mentor your team as well as play a key role as a leader within the executive; a commercial, results oriented mindest and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment; excellent communication skills at a business and executive level; and a pragmatic and problem solving approach allowing you to engage a variety of stakeholders.
