Job Description: We are looking for an intern to join us our Perth office . Although our work and projects are varied, the type of tasks undertaken would likely involve assisting with the measurement and valuation of construction works, estimating the cost of making good defects, compiling and analysing data to support time-related and disruption claims, assisting with the response to analyses performed by other experts, and generally assisting legal teams in the preparation and presentation of their claim to national and international Tribunals and Courts. Responsibilities: Supporting our team who are primarily quantity surveyors acting as Quantum experts on construction disputes Assisting in data research and analysis in drafting expert reports Assisting in analysis or preparation of claims Administrative duties to support the team Requirements: Currently in penultimate or final year of a Degree in Engineering, Construction or Quantity Surveying (and on track for at least a 2.1) Strong skills using relevant software tools: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Able to adapt to a dynamic consultancy environment. Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Excellent communication and presentation skills Any exposure to construction or engineering terms and concepts will be considered an advantage, but not required.
