This business specialises in high performing products and boast a wide range. About the role: Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We are seeking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Tasmania, Rokeby. Accurately process customer orders and input information into our system promptly. Follow up on pending orders and work to convert quotes into sales Provide expert product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email. Collaborate with production and dispatch teams to meet customer delivery requests. Keep customers informed about overdue orders and resolve order-related issues. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, addressing their specific needs. Deliver exceptional customer service, handling queries and complaints professionally. Manage customer returns and credits efficiently. Perform various administrative tasks to support the effective operation of our office. Coordinate with external providers for outsourced orders. Assist the Sales Manager in prospecting new customers and maintaining existing relationships. Conduct customer care and engagement calls to understand and meet customer needs. Handle filing, archiving, and other general office duties as required. Ideally you will have: A genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and going the extra mile. Strong empathy and the ability to handle difficult customer interactions with respect. Proactive in solving issues and taking decisive action. Strong understanding of industry processes and the ability to navigate upstream and downstream issues. Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and positive demeanor. Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Proficient in basic MS Office applications and order intake systems. Technical knowledge of glass processes is a plus. Numerical competence and the ability to analyze orders for suitability.
