About the Role We are looking for an experienced and qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver retail courses at our campuses, in the workplace, and in an online environment. In this fixed-term, part-time position, the trainer’s primary focus will be to teach, facilitate learning, assess, and mentor students in accordance with relevant training package requirements. Please be advised that this position will be job-shared and the initial contract will be for 12-months. About You Have minimum 5 years’ experience in the retail sector. Experience in the Fast-Food sector would be an advantage. Hold Industry qualifications such as a Certificate III in Retail, Cert IV in retail management or equivalent. Have relevant and up to date industry and workplace currency. Possess a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent. Current knowledge and skills in vocational training that informs your training and assessment Experience working with students with disability and/or barriers to education, and the ability to tailor facilitation accordingly. Atwea College requires: Valid NSW Working with Children Check and current National Criminal Police Record Check prior to the commencement of employment. Child Protection Training and other ongoing legislative training as required, once employed. Drivers Licence.
