This would suit an established Senior Legal Counsel or a Legal Counsel seeking to step up. The Senior Legal Counsel reports to the Chief Legal Officer and provides sound and timely legal advice to Northern Health operational areas and senior management as required, to support the delivery of Northern Health’s strategic plan and vision. An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team at Northern Health. The Senior Legal Counsel reports to the Chief Legal Officer and provides sound and timely legal advice across the health service to support the delivery of Northern Health’s strategic plan and vision. This role would be particularly well-suited to an experienced Legal Counsel looking for their first Senior role. Public health experience is an advantage, but not essential. To be successful in this role you will have: An unrestricted practising certificate; Experience in the health sector or in litigation; and A desire to be part of a highly regarded in-house team.
