Loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking materials; Labeling and sorting incoming and outgoing shipments; General forklift maintenance; Keep forklift clean and operational at all times; Comply at all times with WHS legislation and other safe work operating requirements; Assist Yard Supervisor in keeping site clean at all times; Assist administration in paperwork and checking of containers; Travel to Hemmant site to assist in the loading and unloading of trucks if required ; Perform duties as requested by the Yard Supervisor when no loading or unloading is required. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Current Perform High Risk Licence (Forklift) with proven experience in container forklift operations (essential); Ability to perform general maintenance on forklift and commit to safe work practices (essential); High level of communication and attention to detail (essential); Ability to take reasonable direction and work under pressure (essential); Experience within the transport industry (preferred); Motivated and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude (essential).
