ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join our client's team. In this role, you will be at the heart of the firm’s operations, providing high-level secretarial and administrative support to senior legal professionals. Your responsibilities will include managing complex diaries, coordinating client meetings, and organizing travel arrangements. You’ll also play a key role in the billing process, preparing and processing pre-bills, managing general accounts, and ensuring timely client reporting. Additionally, you will handle file management, including the opening and closing of matters, and administer compliance and risk responsibilities for the practice. Your proactive approach will be essential in supporting the smooth operation of a high-performing team, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled with precision and efficiency. DUTIES Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support Manage diaries, organize client meetings, and coordinate travel Assist with billing processes, client reporting, and account management Handle file management, including opening and closing matters Administer quality and risk responsibilities to ensure compliance Collaborate with the team to support high-performing practices SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 3-5 years of experience in legal administration or a similar corporate role A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to learn Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills Advanced technical skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with billing systems (e.g., Aderant Expert) is highly regarded HOW TO APPLY Click APPLY or contact Amber Clignett, Talent Specialist at Lotus People QLD at amber.clignettlotuspeople.com.au for a confidential discussion.
