Our hidden gem has been serving up breakfast and lunch to the Northern Beaches community for over 20 years. Join our team We are currently looking for a Full Time Café Manager to join our team. Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of the cafe activities to ensure the daily operations and services are kept at optimum efficiency. Organising the seasonal promotion and planning special functions. Working closely with cooks/chefs to plan on menus and specials dishes of the month. Maintaining the food and drinks stock levels according to sales. Monitoring quality of services delivered, and food quality served at all times through conferring customer’s satisfaction with meals. Ensuring sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness and maintenance of food service and dining areas and complying with health and safety regulations. Taking customer feedback about their meals and service; dealing with and resolving customer complaints. Working closely with the Director to set up the sales forecast and reviewing and monitoring expenditures according to budget limitations. Staff management including organising the daily and weekly rosters for staff. Organising for recruiting, training & supervising staff to ensure complying with. Controlling stocks include purchasing order and negotiating the price and keeping the purchasing/payment record. Ensuring effecting systems for cash handling and retail banking are in place, reviewing and updating business processes as necessary. Maintaining hygiene and service standards according to Food regulations. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, Minimum 2 years’ experiences Customer service oriented Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to lead and manage the team Job Type: Full Time Salary Offered: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000 p.a, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
