Transport Driver – Corrective Service Industries – Francis Greenway Correctional Centre Location: Berkshire Park, Wellington, Cessnock Employment type: Ongoing, Full Time Opportunity Renumeration: $1,155.00 per week Superannuation and Annual leave with the potential to earn overtime. Your role: We are currently seeking Transports drivers to service our clients across Berkshire Park, Wellington, and Cessnock. In this role you are required to work various start and finish times between Monday to Sunday and, inclusive of Public Holidays when required. You will be responsible for providing a range of transport and logistic services to all Corrective Services NSW and, Corrective Services Industries clients. You will be required to work overtime to facilitate CSI’s operational requirement. You will provide efficient service in accordance with the National Heavy Vehicle Law, legislation and CSNSW policy and procedures. Desirable Experience: • Proven Transport Driver Experience • Experience in safe food handling in line with HACCP Guidelines • Compliance, experience and sound understanding of a driver’s responsibilities under CoR, HVNL ,legislation and guidelines • Experience in safe operations and work practices with heavy vehicles, freight movement and manual handling (WHS) • Experience in accurately completing heavy vehicle pre-trip inspection, NHVR Work Diary, workplace manifests and customer documentation. • Safe driving history in line with deadlines and schedules • Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description. Essential Requirement • Current NSW Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role • HC Heavy Combination Licence or HR Heavy Rigid and willingness to upgrade • Current Service NSW Driver Printout • Forklift Licence or willingness to undertake training. • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to undertake training.
