Through dedicated fundraising campaigns, initiatives, data and insights and events, the RFDS Marketing and Fundraising team helps maintain a valuable connection between our organisation and communities all across the state. Part of our work includes engaging with and providing ongoing support to all our generous donors, from community organisations and corporate partners through to individuals from all parts of our community. The position As a part of the Supporter Services team, the Supporter Services Administrator will champion quality donor care to improve the Flying Doctor donor retention rates by providing a positive experience and developing relationships between the donor and the organisation. The Supporter Services Administrator will play a key role in ensuring donations and Merchandise orders are processed in a proficient and timely manner, queries are responded to promptly & effectively and that donor details are kept confidential and up to date. This role will be responsible for both inbound and outbound calling to support the range of fundraising programs and events that Flying Doctor has in place. Tasks and responsibilities include: Daily processing of one-off donations in The Raiser's Edge (data entry) and Merchandise orders in Shopify Look after the fundraising team's shared email inbox Run regular receipting to ensure all donors are receiving acknowledgement for their gift within agreed time frames Be the first point of contact for inbound calls from RFDS supporters wanting to donate, update their details or enquire about RFDS Make a range of outbound calls to existing RFDS supporters and donors including donation follow up Display a high-level of donor care when communicating with donors to resolve their enquiries and requests Skills and experience required: A minimum of one years' experience in administration, finance or data entry Intermediate IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and mail merge A professional telephone manner and positive approach in donor care Experience using Raiser's Edge CRM (advantage but not mandatory) This position is offered on a short-term fixed-term basis located in Richmond. The contract dates are 9 September 2024 - 1 November 2024. Mandatory requirements: In line with RFDS Victoria's mandatory policies, all employees are required to undergo a National Police Clearance, hold a Working with Children Check and have 3 Covid vaccinations and annual influenza vaccination.
