Multi-year and beyond contract managing a large, experienced team of Blaster/Painters and Rope Access Technicians based in Gladstone, QLD. About the role You will be an autonomous Project Engineer supporting the Project Manager, with support from an experienced site leadership team based in Gladstone. This role will be responsible to coordinate project programming, reporting and quality assurance within timeframes, ensuring a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail. Oversee the smooth execution and integration of all engineering activities within the assigned project, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Work closely with teams to develop and refine project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines. Lead the procurement of materials, manage equipment logistics, and coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure that all project components are delivered on time and to specification. Track project expenses rigorously, implementing effective cost control measures to ensure the project stays within budget without compromising on quality. Identify potential project risks early on, developing and implementing mitigation strategies while enforcing strict safety protocols to safeguard both personnel and project integrity. Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and ensuring their expectations are met through thorough documentation and transparent communication.
