Introduction Warrah is a disability services provider, based in North West Sydney. Inspired by the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, Warrah has been offering quality supports and services for adults and children living with disability for over 50 years. Warrah is a vibrant community, enriching the lives of individuals through our broad range of services, which include Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Support Services (CSS) and Warrah Specialist School. We also have a certified Biodynamic Farm and Farm Shop. Description We currently have a vacancy for a regular shift one weekday from 8.00am to 2.00pm. The role will also include ad hoc shifts between 6.00am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The job involves heavy lifting and will not suit someone who only wants to work school hours. Area of Responsibility The Farm Shop Sales Assistant is responsible for friendly and helpful sales and service to customers from both the Warrah and wider communities, of Warrah’s high quality organic and biodynamic products. Working closely with a small team of staff and volunteers, the Sales Assistant acts as an ambassador for Warrah, is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about biodynamic farming and supports the Farm’s positive interface with the public. The Sales Assistant is also responsible for assigned administrative duties that support the efficient running of the Farm Shop.
