Be involved with design, installation, commissioning etc Control Systems Engineer The Company Paragon Talent Solutions has been engaged to assist an Australian owned Electrical and Industrial Automation Contractor and now have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Control Systems Engineer. This is a permanent position based in Brisbane and would suit an Engineer who enjoys working with Electricians and taking a high level of responsibility with their work The Position As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for: Functional design of control systems in the food & beverage sectors Developing new PLC, SCADA and HMI systems as well as maintaining current ones for client sites Ensure that real-time data is available and that control mechanisms are operating effectively and efficiently for use by system operations and network development Responsible for configuration, acceptance testing, commissioning etc in the field Work closely with new and existing clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions to fit their needs Liaise and oversee a team of Electricians for your projects Stakeholder engagement This is an exciting period for my client who are currently very busy and is in high demand from their customers. This position would suit a Control Systems Engineer who is happy carrying out the full project lifecycle as well as having plenty of client engagement and working closely with Electricians. The successful candidate will be competent with SCADA and PLC technologies and will be very familiar with Rockwell, Siemens and/or Schneider products or similar.
