The Opportunity: As a Bridge Engineer you will thrive on all aspects of structural design with a focus on bridges. This role will see you: Undertake the design, coordination and project reporting on bridge projects to meet the program, scope, quality and financial requirements while achieving positive design outcomes; Work on various scales of bridge and other structural projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment and end of life; Engaging with government clients, contractors and project stakeholders to drive outstanding service delivery; Champion our culture of delivering on quality and client expectations; Role model our expected quality and OH&S behaviours both within project delivery and on the job. What you bring: Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering, be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and/or be a Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (PER) VIC and have achieved Chartered Status Minimum 5 years of Bridge Engineering experience Analysis experience with bridge software (SpaceGASS, Midas Civil) Project Management skills and commercial acumen Demonstrated experience in bridge design to AS5100 and TfNSW Specification and Bridge Technical Directions. Experience in Road and/or Rail Bridge assessment and design Experience in undertaking Bridge Inspections and Structural Assessments, as well as prior experience preparing SMPs is highly desired, but not mandatory. Leadership skills to effectively mentor emerging engineers and engage with teams, sub-consultants, clients and stakeholders across multiple disciplines Demonstrated experience writing, pricing and reviewing bids, proposals and tenders Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
