Grundfos Pumps Australia are seeking the skills of a talentedSales Engineerto join our friendly, inclusiveteam, based in our Perth office in Western Australia. - Reporting to Grundfos Sales Manager, Groundwater & Irrigation and Specialist Dewatering at Rio Tinto Iron Ore - Position located at Rio Tinto Iron Ore's Operation Centre in Perth, Western Australia. - Support Rio Tinto and Grundfos staff by providing expert knowledge of bore pump design, application, construction, maintenance and repair. - Execute agreed annual plans and activities and develop potential opportunities for product improvement and development. - Identify and track key projects and stakeholders, update plans and activities accordingly while increasing influence with key stakeholders within Grundfos and Rio Tinto - Maintain monthly progress reporting against annual plans - Support Rio Tinto and Grundfos staff by providing expert knowledge of bore pump design, application, construction, maintenance and repair - Support management with insights and strategic planning. Your main responsibilities - Provide world class customer service, reflecting superior knowledge of customer needs and perception of best value. - Review submersible pump spares holdings to minimise business risk - Conduct interchangeability studies where pump models are changed due to changing aquifer levels - Support the procurement contract for supply of submersible pumps (clarifications, costing, forecasting) - Review submersible pump failure history to determine chronic failures and developing risks. - Identify new risks and opportunities to mitigate these risks. - Identify reliability enhancement opportunities, structure programs to implement these opportunities - Investigate submersible pump failures on site or with repair vendors as required - Continually grow and develop personal expertise within products and applications relevant to the market sector and customer base. - Deliver added customer value demonstrating an understanding of Rio Tinto needs, and where relevant, development of improvement activities with all stakeholders. - Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and develop innovative product solutions - Any other duties commensurate with the position as required.
