Description Our Melbourne CBD office is at the heart of some of the most exciting projects in the region, and we are looking for dedicated professionals to join us in our mission to deliver outstanding Structural Engineering solutions. We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in the Melbourne office. Your Main Responsibilities Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity Preparation of client reports Monitor projects for fee variations Liaise with engineers and drafters to enable preparation of documentation Check junior engineers’ work as required Manage design team of engineers and drafters including allocation of resources and checking of work for small projects (where required) Develop and maintain relationships with clients Contribute to the overall management and profitability of projects Ability to interpret and communicate information of a more complex nature Develop the ability to scheme up small to medium sized projects Assume responsibility for the management of small, medium and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies– e.g. WHS practices and Quality Assurance About You Bachelor’s degree in engineering Member of Engineers Australia At least 5 years’ experience in engineering Thorough understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards Excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately Problem solving/analytical skills Excellent communication and organisation skills Demonstrated time management skills Willingness and ability to advance own career including remaining up to date with advancements in discipline related engineering methodologies The Company TTW employs over 400 staff across six offices in Australia and Asia.
