PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We manage our clients’ entire project lifecycle from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies. Join our team and become part of a community that strives for positive change–providing the best solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges As the successful candidate, you will: Lead the structural discipline in executing projects that range from pre-feasibility to execution phase Interface with clients on technical matters Provide structural engineering analysis and design Plan and managing engineering activities using Engineering Work Packages Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications and scopes of work Prepare Material Take Offs/Bill of Quantities Review and check engineering drawings Provide input to engineering, operating and cost estimates Participate in and contribute to design reviews You bring to the role: A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution Demonstrated design experience Experience with structural design software such as SpaceGass, Strand7 and StaadPro Demonstrated knowledge of industry and/or regulatory standards relating to structural engineering) including Australian codes and standards Previous structural engineering experience within the infrastructure, industrial and mining sectors Leadership experience or ability to demonstrate potential in this area Applicants with RPEQ and CPEng will be well regarded To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian / New Zealand citizen, hold permanent residency status, or alternatively, a Visa that entitles you to work in Australia.
