The Role The CDC NSW Charter division is seeking drivers to join our team in Parramatta, working between the hours of 13:45 - 20:55 at the Western Sydney University, Parramatta Campus. In this role you would be providing Shuttle services on the Western Sydney Uni Campus for students and staff between WSU (Rydalmere) and Parramatta. On site parking is available. Key Responsibilities: Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service Carry out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behaviour in the workplace Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies The responsibility of collecting correct fares, issuing tickets and checking passes Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role: Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above) Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check Provide your current RMS driving history Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices Always act safely Have excellent customer service skills Have excellent communication skills Capable of working independently and/or collaboratively within a team setting A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status Offered to you: Uniforms provided Comprehensive Training and growth opportunities Excellent pay and career development opportunities Friendly and professional team environment Be part of a dedicated team delivering outstanding service to our stakeholder, Sydney Trains.
