IT Systems Administrator Full Time, Permanent role White Rock, Cairns Campus (some inter-campus travel required) Trinity Anglican School is seeking applications for an IT Systems Administrator for its White Rock Campus, south Cairns. You know the OSI model top to bottom You know servers don't just work in restaurants You are in-tune with Microsoft Intune You are a life-long learner We are seeking someone with: Advanced knowledge of hardware and configuration of networking peripherals, including a detailed understanding of the principles of a networking operating system Moderate understanding of administering a server operating system Demonstrated ability to advise users in the effective use of Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Word, Excel, Power Point, OneDrive, OneNote and Adobe) An advanced understanding of Laptop Computers, Desktop systems and Peripherals with a demonstrated ability to support such systems in an environment where users have varying computing skill levels Analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to perform application and infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting to component level in a safe and effective manner Proven skills in written and oral communication and a capacity to display strong client focus and work in a team environment Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and work at a fast pace Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff A sense of humour TAS has a goal to inspire its staff and students to be the best they can be.
