About the role As a Systems Administrator, you’ll develop, implement, and manage Biosecurity Tasmania’s Digital Transformation Program processes with a strong focus on delivery of technological solutions. On a typical day you will be supporting staff with the implementation of MAX (Maximum Biosecurity), a software application developed in the Microsoft Platform that focuses on the development of biosecurity management processes, using tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and others. Located in the beautiful Tasmania, our preferred candidate will have to option of either Hobart, Launceston or Devonport. Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation). Period of appointment 2.5 years. Desirable requirements A relevant tertiary qualification or significant experience in information technology, project management and/or business management. Experience working closely with end-users and software vendors to facilitate system improvements using contemporaneous technologies (e.g., MS360 and Java). A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
