The Generous Culture Team support our frontline corps in all aspects of giving generously as an act of worshipping God. Administration Assistants are key in the smooth running of our corps and the teams that support them, providing relief for Corps Officers/frontline staff so they can focus their attention towards our community members. The role brings a variety of administration activities such as data entry, filing, preparing of spreadsheets, responding to calls and emails, product supply and record keeping. This role is ideal for someone who loves order, systems and quality improvement, as well as supporting a team to achieve great outcomes for the community. Administration Assistants are highly valued team members as they are the ‘engine room’ of our service. Key responsibilities Bring your dynamic organisational skills to respond to incoming calls, and emails, whilst also using those quieter times to do data entry, send order forms to corps via email and manage the envelope ordering schedule. Apply your well-honed IT skills to using online systems for information entry and retrieval. On a weekly cycle, send returned order forms to external printing company and when these are supplied package them in their individual boxes and prepare these for mailing to the corps through THQ reception. Prepare charges for corps forms and email to finance for billing. Maintain scheduling system for ongoing annual cycle of envelope provision. Bring your attention to detail, professionalism and integrity to ensure that compliance and confidentiality is adhered to at all times. Qualifications and skills (desired/required) Experience in administration is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Sharepoint Confident with online systems and software, as well as using printers (specific on the job training will be provided) Strong verbal and written communication skills Capabilities and personal attributes Manage Self: Presents a demeanour that is appropriate to work setting and role; shows personal motivation and commitment to completing work activities effectively. Below is what is required for this role: As this role involves dealing with confidential information, it requires a Police Check Development opportunities with this role This role will give volunteers an opportunity to continue to develop skills and build experience in administration, use of systems and software, reporting and some volunteer engagement activities.
