An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and passionate Lease Administrator to play a critical role in our dynamic Property Team in a permanent part-time capacity (30.4 hours per week). We are flexible on the number of days the person will work; however Monday & Tuesday are non-negotiable. YOUR DAY-DAY Primarily tasked with the seamless coordination of all lease administration activities you will be responsible for: New Store Administration Manage the process of handing over a new site to the wider business which includes the compilation of site handover documents. Assist the Group Property and Leasing Manager in researching information on potential new locations as part of fulfilling the Store Network Plan. Store Network Relationship Management Liaise with stores, landlords and their representatives on issues until fully resolved Liaise with the Facilities Maintenance team to initiate action on remedying any major maintenance issues Property Administration Manage and maintain Baby Bunting’s leasing database system - Lease Eagle Track lease expiry dates using Lease Eagle, notifying relevant stakeholders of any issues that arise. Coordination of legal documentation with Baby Bunting’s in-house Legal team and Lessors legal representative. Stakeholder Management & Engagement Liaise with finance team to ensure processes such as paying first month’s rent, setting up of insurances and procurement of bank guarantees is carried out efficiently and in a timely manner. Experience in reviewing leases and ability to interpret lease documents. Current up-to-date knowledge/understanding of retail leases act, including terminology and obligations. Strong attention to detail Knowledge/understanding of retail leasing process, including terminology and obligations. Experience in liaising with landlords and their representatives. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to liaise, influence and communicate effectively with people at all levels Please note; Every employer in Australia has the obligation to ensure that employees have the relevant working rights.
