Embedded Expertise, part of the SAGE Group, has a contracting opportunity with one of our key long term global Mining clients. This role offers a diverse range of opportunity and experience in Control Systems and associated automation projects across our clients' Mining operation. As Control Systems Engineer you will provide specialist advice and execute tasks ensuring robust change control of Control Systems platforms to deliver availability, reliability, and production improvements. You will be a specialist committed to technical excellence, operational support and sustainable improvement. This position will be located in the ADELAIDE CBD office with occasional site visits. Key Responsibilities Executing control systems design (including PLC/SCADA coding and graphics) and commissioning for plant modifications and new equipment installations. Provide control systems support and technical assistance for breakdowns and production critical issues. Development of design documentation Provide control system engineering technical expertise to assist with Site/Asset and Functional managed projects that are associated to Control Systems. Analysis and auditing of existing control system implementations. Technical Skills & Abilities Bachelor's degree - Electrical / Control Systems / Instrumentation Relevant industry experience with a demonstrated practical and hands on approach in a mining environment. Strong PLC programming and hardware configuration skills as well as SCADA/HMI programming skills: Rockwell Automation product suite Citect SCADA Factory Talk View Demonstrated previous experience in Field Communication protocols: EthernetIP, Modbus, Profibus & DeviceNet Please APPLY if you have the capability to meet these requirements.
