GreenConnect Dementia Respite is a groundbreaking not-for-profit initiative launched in April 2024 to transform dementia care in the Loddon-Mallee region. This three-year pilot project introduces nature-based activities and accommodations for people in the early to mid-stages of dementia and their carers, offering a personalised and refreshing alternative to traditional respite care. Funded by a $1.7 million Australian Government grant, GreenConnect focuses on improving wellbeing and reducing caregiving stress while generating evidence to address disparities in dementia care in rural areas. Our client Heathcote Dementia Alliance are looking for a dedicated Executive Administration Assistant to join their team and assist with the GreenConnect Dementia Respite project. This role is ideal for someone who excels in organisation, enjoys engaging with people, and is motivated by making a community impact. You will be crucial in coordinating our projects and activities to support our green space respite solutions. Our ideal candidate would hold relevant tertiary qualifications with at least 2 years experience in administration, client services, or event coordination, preferably within a non-profit, or community-focused organisation. We also require that you have strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills and proficient with MS Office and dropbox. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and maintain strong relationships with consortium partners, steering group members, and project participants, acting as a primary contact. Assist in coordinating the delivery of services, programs, and events for the GreenConnect Dementia Respite project. Manage and update activity, contact, and participant databases to ensure smooth program operations. Contribute to project improvement through feedback and innovative ideas. Handle general administration tasks and provide backup support for other functions within the GreenConnect Dementia Respite Project Management Team. Participate in team meetings and attend required training. Prepare agendas, minutes, and other documentation. REQUIREMENTS: 2 Years minimum experience in administration, client services or event coordination. Empathetic and respectful in stakeholder relations. Excellent attention to detail when reviewing documents and providing person-centred service delivery. Knowledge of wellness principles in care services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management, multitasking abilities and problem solving. Some understanding of aged care services in Victoria. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
