About The Opportunity We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our Infrastructure Services Administration Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and courteous customer service and general office duties, contributing to the achievement of Council's performance objectives and standards. Your primary focus will be supporting the Engineering Services Branch, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team, where your contributions will help foster a team-oriented culture within the Infrastructure Services Administration Team. About You Mandatory: A minimum of two years experience working in a high-volume, customer focused office administration environment. High level of computer literacy, including demonstrated proficiency in word processing and data entry using MS software applications for correspondence, reports, tables, policy documents, and presentations, with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a professional and positive 'can do' attitude, and the capability to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, communicate, and solve problems effectively within a multidisciplinary environment, adhering to set guidelines. Desired: Qualifications in a relevant discipline (such as business or administration) will be highly regarded.
