About the Role Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and Associate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for providing a high level of professional expertise and customer focus to all acquisition, retention and development clients which in turn maximises hotel revenue and profitability. Main Responsibilities - Respond to all new client enquires, providing quotes and proposals - Contract, plan and execute all events (including but not limited to social, corporate, weddings) and groups requirements - Host site inspections for current and prospective clients - Work with the Associate Director of Sales to source and drive new business into the hotel and convert all incoming leads - Create and distribute weekly BEO's, leading weekly BEO and Group Resume meeting - Work closely with the Executive Chef around menu planning and client dietary requirements - Undertake weekly sales, prospective, and account management calls - Maintain complete records of all sales agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel - Attend major travel and trade shows and corporate functions to promote the hotel where applicable - Ensure all Hyatt standards relating to sales, profitability and marketing are followed - To adhere to the annual sales and marketing plan and promotional calendar and ensure all planned activities are implemented - Review and stay on top of all event trends, competitor analysis and Brisbane market intel - To ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming Requirements - Relevant experience in a hotel environment - Experience with Envision is highly regarded (or other Catering systems) - Flexibility around working days and hours as required by the business - High level of both written and verbal communication - Ability to work to tight deadlines when required Why work with Hyatt?
