My client was founded to help schools put wellbeing at the heart of a student's learning experience. They believe the deterioration of youth mental health is one of the most important problems in the world to tackle right now, and they’re looking for people to join them on that journey. Their platform empowers schools to deliver engaging and interactive wellbeing programs. Through their software, schools are able to easily measure the impact of their program and monitor student wellbeing with real-time data. Their clients use their software to proactively teach students skills that help them thrive, including how to manage anxiety, build strong relationships, reduce phone addiction, improve sleep, and practice mindfulness and gratitude. Over the last 12 months, their client base has grown by 300%, they now operate in every state and territory across Australia, the UK and Asia. With the number of schools using their software in 2025 set to triple, so they are looking for passionate people to join their team. About the Role: Their looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the sales team as they continue to grow the number of schools using their software across Australia and Asia. You’ll do this by working closely with their sales and SDR team to reach out to Heads of Wellbeing at schools across Australia to understand their challenges when delivering high-quality wellbeing education. The key to your role will be to listen to key decision-makers actively, understand their problems, and articulate how their platform is designed to solve them and make their lives easier. The core outcome of your role will be to organise a meeting between a school and their sales team in order for the school to see a full demonstration of how their software works and be able to trial the platform themselves. You’ll achieve this through three primary channels that include email marketing, phone calls, and attendance at key wellbeing conferences across Australia. As a young company tripling in size each year, this role also presents opportunities for growth into senior sales roles, both within Australia and internationally at our offices in London. Key Responsibilities: Book 150 meetings with schools across Australia each term in order to directly contribute to Wellio’s growth in users. Maintain tight records of schools' existing wellbeing programs and organisation structure. Nurture prospects through their lead generation funnel in order to ensure they meet with schools at a time that is best for them. Think strategically to identify the best path to capturing the interest of the key decision-maker based on the school's organisational structure and wellbeing program. Conduct a minimum of 150 calls a week to prospects demonstrating interest in trialling the platform. Work closely with the sales team in developing and executing different sales campaigns across the year. Attend key wellbeing conferences across Australia where you’ll meet key decision makers at Australian schools. Write and test marketing copy in order to identify the highest performing outreach strategies. Analyse the statistical insights from email campaigns to inform and enhance future campaigns. About You: A hard working and self-motivated person with a track record of successfully hitting lead generation targets. Strong communication skills via both phone and email. You’re resilient and tenacious, and aren’t discouraged easily. Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organisation. You‘re a people person. You probably don't have any trouble striking up conversations with anyone. You’re a hard worker who gets things done and can work independently while contributing to a wider team. Salary: Up to $80k base depending on experience Super |100k OTE
