About the role Join us in safeguarding Maurice Blackburn's digital infrastructure Reporting to the Manager of Cloud, Platforms & Security, you'll spearhead our efforts to ensure our systems remain resilient and secure. Responsibilities include: Maintaining and bolstering comprehensive security practices aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements. Taking the lead in swift and precise incident response efforts. Innovating security measures through strategic automation to elevate efficiency and precision. Guaranteeing uninterrupted business continuity through meticulous maintenance and rigorous testing of disaster recovery plans. Providing expert guidance on cloud security, fortifying our operations in the digital realm. The experience we are looking for: Demonstrable experience in managing cybersecurity issues and close collaboration with a SOC partner. Proficiency with specialised security tools, including Rapid 7 (IDR & IVM) and Netskope (SWG, CASB, DLP), as well as Email gateways. Strong understanding of the TLS encryption protocol. Experience with DR replication through Azure ASR. Hands-on experience with implementing the Microsoft security stack. Understanding of perimeter firewalls, network security, and vulnerability management. Proficiency in automation, scripting, and development tools. Experience in architectural design, optimisation, and performance tuning. Preferred certifications: MS365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSK.
