South Coast Baptist College is seeking a Relief Administration Assistant to join our dynamic Admin Team. This is a multifaceted role that requires flexibility and the ability to handle diverse tasks within our vibrant school environment Position Requirements: The Relief Administration Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support across various departments within SCBC. Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with various administrative tasks as assigned by manager. Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner. Greeting and assisting visitors to the office. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails. Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems. Data entry and record keeping. Scheduling appointments and meetings. Assisting with travel arrangements and expense reports. Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory. Providing general administrative support to staff as needed. Assisting with special projects and events. Essential Information about this position: This position is part of our Relief Pool, which means that applications will be stored for a period of six months. If you wish to be included after this time, you would need to reconfirm your application with the HR Team. While being part of the Relief Teacher - Expression of Interest Pool does not guarantee a teaching position, applicants will be considered when relief teachers are required. Relief teaching positions may vary in duration and frequency depending on the needs of the college. Suitable candidates will be notified when relief teaching opportunities arise and will have the option to accept or decline interviews/positions based on their availability. Essential Criteria: To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices. To accept the College’s Statement of Faith. Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents. Work to ensure personal best practice. Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair. Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication. Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos. Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC. First Aid certificate is desirable. Working With Children Card.
