Job Description Diverse projects Front of house – Client facing Autonomous role ABOUT THE COMPANY This unique mid-sized Architecture practice focuses on delivering projects that are of high quality yet commercially viable for their clients. They have an understanding and desire to work collaboratively on a variety of projects from commercial, and retail to multi-residential with the aim of quality innovative design to enhance user experience yet profitable for their developer network. ABOUT THE ROLE Your role will be to work alongside the Director and be heavily involved in project engagement and front-end design with considered conceptual designs to meet the client’s requirements. As a design leader, you will lead your team through design development encompassing concept and then final design and delivery. DUTIES Meet clients to understand the brief Produce conceptual designs Manage, and lead juniors through design stages Work autonomously and efficiently Attend site visits Liaise with consultants, Council SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Tertiary qualification in Architecture Ideally 20 years of experience Strong concept design experience – portfolio to match Hand sketching experience Strong Revit documentation experience Project experience in a variety of sectors Strong Construction knowledge of BCA and NCC You must be eligible to work in Australia CULTURE This company believes in empowering its staff to work autonomously, without excessive oversight or control.
