Salary packaging, subsidised health and wellbeing services, and a 25% discount on graduate courses to our staff and their immediate families About the Role The Platform Administrator ensures the seamless operation and optimal functionality of the learning management system (LMS) to support effective course delivery and user satisfaction. Reporting to the Production and Development Manager, you will develop static and interactive learning assets and use your knowledge of emerging technologies to translate subject and course-level designs into innovative, student-focused content. Additionally, you will provide tailored technical training to support Melbourne Professional Education (MPE) and faculty teams in delivering and maintaining online courses within the LMS. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring timely set-up, launch, and maintenance of subject websites, while contributing to the design and development of websites for MPE. Managing MPE’s Learning Management System (LMS) daily, including developing LMS protocols and processes, managing user accounts, permissions, and subject site provision; creating technical documentation; tracking, investigating, and resolving issues. Working closely and proactively with Project Managers, eLearning Designers, Educational Technologists, the Academic Learning System Support (ALSS) team, and LMS vendors. Delivering tailored LMS training and support to Learning Designers developing content in Canvas, while facilitating their proficiency in utilising LMS features effectively to enhance course delivery and student engagement. Contributing to the team’s achievement of agreed service and quality standards and reporting requirements through the implementation and use of analytics and performance tracking, and using this information to improve practice. Who We Are Looking For You are an excellent communicator, able to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely. You also have: An appropriate tertiary qualification with relevant extensive experience and/or education/training. Excellent knowledge of enterprise learning management systems including back-end configuration and administration; rapid authoring tools and emerging learning technologies. A broad understanding of learning management systems, HTML, CSS and JS, web development tools and design for mobile delivery. Extensive experience in programming, user acceptance testing, platform analytics reporting, issue tracking and delivery of professional development/ training.
