This is a company that is truly passionate about creating a fantastic workplace culture, putting its people at the forefront of everything they do The Role Working both independently and collaboratively within the team, you will oversee daily banking activities, manage commission processing, and support accounts payable functions. You'll liaise with various internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and continually seek opportunities to enhance processes within the finance function. There is a focus in this role in the commission processing cycle, including creating commission statements, processing manual adjustments, and ensuring timely and accurate commission payments. The Responsibilities: Oversee daily banking transactions and handle banking reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. Execute the commission processing cycle, including manual adjustments and generating commission statements. Address any commission-related queries and resolve processing errors. Manage accounts payable activities. Collaborate with the Operations team to deliver a seamless, end-to-end service experience. Provide financial support to various internal teams including Underwriting, Technology, Claims, and Product/Marketing. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the finance function. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. Deliver customer-centric service to all stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met. About You: 3 years experience within finance or banking administration. Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with financial software packages, particularly Xero. Experience in commission processing highly regarded. Strong attention to detail and high level of personal energy, with a drive to succeed and improve processes. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
