Federal Government Client is seeking Senior Developers Control-M -Analysis, Design and Test (APS6) to undertake analysis, design, testing, maintenance, and evaluation of new and existing software systems. Senior Developers assess moderately complex technical issues that may arise within the development or production environments. Senior Developers: promote and deliver flexible, quality service to improve customer experience work under the limited direction of senior staff to deliver results make ethical, evidence-based decisions using sound judgement anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations Estimated start date Monday, 02 September 2024 Initial contract duration 10 months Extension term 12 months Number of extensions 2 Location of work ACT, QLD, VIC Working arrangements Onsite Brisbane, Canberra Melbourne Security clearance Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance Developer - Control-M (Analysis, Design and Test) – APS6 Duties may include some or all of the following: create software and technical designs for the realisation of complex development solutions provide technical advice on software development and maintenance provide go-live support and maintenance for complex developments perform a range of analysis, design, software development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities undertake analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies identify, investigate, and resolve complex ICT issues assess, communicate, monitor, and control risk develop team plans and goals prepare draft reports and corporate documentation manage and prioritise own and others' workloads to meet business objectives in specified timeframes develop and deliver on projects within the assigned area of responsibility perform cost analysis activities as required Ability to: use and encourage the use of digital technology to work efficiently translate technical information for non-technical audiences discuss and negotiate issues with credibility, transparency and respect undertake analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence work collaboratively and embrace agile ways for working support and encourage innovation and continuous improvement remain optimistic and focused in response to setbacks or challenges enable change initiatives and encourage others to embrace change show care and courage with challenging interactions. Requirements Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required for role include • Control-M • SAP PS-CD and SAP S4/HANA Weighted Criteria At least 3 years of experience working in large ICT Control-M project teams with complex business rules and high data volumes Exposure SAP PS-CD and S/4HANA technologies Ability to prepare high quality documentation, including detailed functional design specifications, requirement traceability, testing documentation and other implementation documentation A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and to share information. Ability to commit to action, display resilience in a high-pressure complex ICT environment, and dedication to achieving positive outcomes Ability to communicate clearly, listen, understand, and adapt to the audience; able to effectively communicate with business colleagues to ensure common understanding
