OUR OPPORTUNITY We are on the hunt for someone who is passionate about delivering exception customer service; and excited for this incredible opportunity to gain exposure to the BTR field under the guidance of a supportive General Manager and Leasing Manager. Joining our team at Essence Communities – Realm Caulfield, you will play a key role in providing high level leasing administration support at the property. You will be the first point of contact and will assist to prospect potential tenants and drive leasing administration tasks. This role is a full-time permanent position, 38 hours per week with a Saturday rotation. THE PROPERTY The property offers premium rental living experiences across 437 apartments within the one complex. Elevated living experiences are provided through 6-day onsite management, premium resident amenity areas, customer service focus and resident events & engagement program. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Assisting the Leasing Manager, you will undertake tenancy inspections, both for pre-occupation and occupied apartments Provide feedback and advice to the Leasing Manager after inspections and communication with potential residents and in-room residents Process tenancy applications and update internal systems Work with the team to ensure marketing materials are up-to-date, and advertised correctly online Actively conduct market research and maintain current knowledge of local market trends Ensure all relevant state laws and legislation are adhered to (i.e. Residential Tenancies and Rooming Act, Privacy Act, Property Occupations Act 2014, Anti-Discrimination, etc). ABOUT YOU Ideally 1-2 years ‘experience within a similar property leasing administrator role Demonstrated ability to perform leasing administrative tasks Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels Strong attention to detail High level of analytical thinking Ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment, and autonomously as needed Current Agent’s Representative Certificate lodged with Consumer Affairs Victoria to conduct Real Estate business (preferable) National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost Unrestricted work rights in Australia Mandarin speaking a bonus, but not essential WHY ESSENCE COMMUNITIES Across our workforce we have built an enviable culture of trust, engagement, collaboration, and fun.
