As the Principal Digital User Experience Designer, you will lead a creative team of professionals passionate about creating user-friendly digital solutions. You will be adept at creating effective storyboards and journey maps to inform development and prototyping in a collaborative design with developers, users and subject matter experts. You’ll use your problem solving and communication skills to address user pain points and improve the overall experience for councils, assessors and users of the NSW Planning Portal . The key challenges you’ll face include balancing multiple project demands and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. You’ll need to apply your expertise in tools like Figma and Miro and stay aligned with the NSW Digital Design System and brand standards, all while translating complex issues into actionable design improvements.
