About the Centre Brunswick Baths is a state-of-the-art aquatic and fitness centre located in the heart of Brunswick. The centre offers a wide range of facilities, including a 50-meter heated outdoor pool, a 20-meter heated indoor pool, a waterplay pool, a gym, a group fitness room, a functional training room, a spa, a sauna, and a steam room. Brunswick Baths is also home to a number of accessible facilities, including an aquatic hoist, an aquatic wheelchair, and changing rooms that are wheelchair accessible. The centre offers a variety of programs and classes for people of all ages and abilities, including swimming lessons, water aerobics, aqua aerobics, yoga, and Pilates. About the role As a Swim Teacher at Brunswick Baths you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students. Structure and design lessons with appropriate activities that challenge and develop your students swimming and water safety ability Recommend students for level progression as appropriate Teach and model effective problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills About you You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary. Personal attributes such as patience, respect, and enthusiasm will take you far as a Swim Teacher In this role you will unlock the power of all children to be inspired by swimming, creating lifelong opportunities.
