This role will lead the designs for our On-Demand Care team, which owns the HotDoc patient experience. You and your product manager, data and engineering peers will be responsible for: Building solutions that enables patients to access care faster by shifting from face to face appointments to online and asynchronous methods Using design create a more engaging healthcare experience, improve accessibility and empowering patients to access the care they need more conveniently Millions of Australians rely on our HotDoc every month and working with us has the opportunity to improve the healthcare experience of 1 in 3 Australians. Unique value of the role In this role, you will be designing the end-to-end experience for the patient app, from defining the problem to ideating solutions then refining designs for development. You will advocate for the user's experience by researching, interviewing patients and healthcare professionals, conducting usability tests and analysing qualitative/quantitative data and sharing your insights with the team and validating your design decisions. As a Senior Product Designer at Hotdoc, you’ll work alongside talented product managers, engineers, business analysts and customer-facing teams to solve real problems our customers and patients face. Key Accountabilities Design advocate: You will lead design projects by planning and executing the design process for each project. Voice of the user: Through research, interviews, usability tests and data analysis you will synthesise insights and share it with your team. Collaborator: You will work closely with PMs, engineers, data analysis to deliver simple and fast solutions that engage users and meet business objectives. You will also bring in cross functional colleagues into the design process to gain alignment. Stakeholder manager: Communicate with business stakeholders to keep them involved, informed and gain support for your designs. End-to-end Designer: Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs. Elevate UI design styles and components so that it’s engaging and delightful but still clear and consistent with the HotDoc brand. Experiences, Capabilities & Qualifications Required Experience, Capabilities & Skills 5 years of professional Product Designer experience, preferably already in a Senior role Experience with research, interviews, usability testing, qualitative and quantitative data analysis Strong UI, visual and interactive skills, knowledgeable about WCAG guidelines a plus Proficient in Figma Strong presentation and storytelling skills Experience with copywriting and/or marketing is a plus Experience designing new products from ideation to product market fit, ensuring scalability Experience working with engineers in an agile environment Experience working in a startup or scale up environment is a bonus Are highly empathic and committed to being an advocate for our users Required Education / Qualifications Degree or training in product design or related field Why Join HotDoc?
