ABOUT THE ROLE Based in Melbourne, the National Sales Manager will lead, mentor, educate and drive a team of 6 hunters nationally. The position will leverage a robust transport network, elite TMS and client visibility platforms to create and execute an aggressive sales strategy with ambitious growth targets. DUTIES • Lead a team of 6 Sales Executives through training and guidance around lead generation and new business sales • Work with the Executive to design, plan and execute aggressive sales programs • Work with the sales team to build and manage the sales pipeline in line with company growth objectives • Foster and maintain relationships with major accounts SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 5 years of Sales Management experience in door-to-door road express transport (retail/fashion/FMCG/electronics/manufacturing) • Demonstrated success in building and executing sales strategies on a national scale • Over 10 years of proven hunting new business experience within the door-to-door road express market • Experience working in an organisation that has experienced significant growth in a short period.
