About This Role: The Technical and Graphic Content Designer creates visual concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers for the company's sales and marketing materials and promotions. Develops overall layout and production design. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility. Essential Functions: Collaborates with engineering and product management teams to create detailed datasheets and installation instructions. Utilizes Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to design and produce technical documents. Understands complex technical details to effectively communicate them in various forms of collateral. Updates technical and product details on the company website (no website architecture or major modifications involved). Cleans and manages DXF files. Updates pricing information on the website as needed. Creates custom datasheets for specific projects. Ensures all technical materials and labels are accurate and consistent. Manages CAD details and information. Makes minor modifications to brochures and flyers. Assists with product releases by preparing necessary collateral. Education Required and Preferred: High school diploma or 2 years of technical training or education in graphic design. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design preferred. Experience Required and Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Graphic Artist. Experience with Technical Writing What You Bring: Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong understanding of technical details and the ability to communicate them clearly. Experience with website content management systems (CMS). Basic knowledge of CAD and DXF file management. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and product management teams. Experience in creating animated video content for product demonstrations and educational purposes.
